Statement on personal artistic style
Being invited to the Steel Workshop has enriched my life as an artist a great deal. At Stahlpark Riedersbach I was able, for the first time, to use metal in a large-scale project.
About my works:
"Feuerträger" (Fire Bearer) is made of various tubes and plates welded together. Above its head the figure is holding a representation of a firebowl.
"Spiralrad" (Spiral Wheel) deals with the concept of movement. The wheel can be set in motion by way of a crank.
