The artists and workshop organisers

`  A Steel Workshop is held every summer in the Gipshalle ("plaster hall") of Energie AG. Its initiator and acting director is secondary school teacher, art agent and artist Karlheinz Schönswetter.
Each year he invites between ten and fifteen artists from various countries to this event.
Sponsored by Energie AG, the Steel Workshop gives the artists an opportunity to spend three or four weeks getting creative with the many materials and tools provided. During the past ten years numerous artists have accepted the ivitation to the event.
