Gallery at Power Station
Riedersbach 2

The gallery at power station Riedersbach 2 was opened in 1988 as a collaborative project of Karlheinz Schönswetter and Energie AG. Incidentally, the exhibitions at this gallery were the starting point for the entire Riedersbach art sponsoring project.
Since then, contemporary art exhibitions have been held on the premises of power station Riedersbach 2 on a regular basis. Numerous artists have accepted the invitation to present their paintings, watercolours, graphics, photographic art and sculptures here.
The one hundreth vernissage at the gallery was celebrated with Gundi Schönswetter's "Glutbilder" ("Incandescent Images") cycle – a special exhibition for a special occasion.
